Fresh Thyme Farmers Market opens in Worthington, more locations coming

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market opened their second store in the Columbus area Wednesday, September 16th in the city of Worthington at 933 High Street.  As is typical with Fresh Thyme, the grand opening was highlighted by a $50 grocery giveaway to the first 250 shoppers in line when the doors opened at 7:00 a.m.

Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is a full-service specialty retailer focusing on value-priced fresh, healthy, natural and organic offerings. It boasts an extensive produce department with organic and local fruits and vegetables, a natural meat department, healthy deli foods to go, bakery goods, 400 bulk food bins, dairy and frozen, and health supplement products. Fresh Thyme is scheduled to open 60 stores by 2019.    Learn more at freshthyme.com.  The new 30,570 square foot store in Worthington marks the company’s second location in Columbus.  Another Columbus-area location is under construction in Westerville, and the company is also planning a store in Gahanna.

The Men’s Wearhouse to step out front at Tri-County Mall

The Men’s Wearhouse took advantage of a great opportunity to improve its position at northern Cincinnati’s Tri-County Mall.  In order to make way for major renovations to the mall, Tri-County Mall owners, SingHaiyi Group Ltd., approached The Men’s Wearhouse to relocate.  The Men’s Wearhouse jumped at the opportunity to move to a highly visible new multi-tenant retail building out in front of the mall by the main entrance on busy State Route 747/Princeton Pike.  Eric M. Abroms of OnSite Retail Group in Cincinnati, OH represented The Men’s Wearhouse in the new lease with SingHaiyi Group Ltd.  Abroms is the exclusive representative for The Men’s Wearhouse in Greater Cincinnati.  The new 5,500 square foot store is currently under construction and is expected to open this fall.

Founded in 1973, The Men's Wearhouse is one of North America's largest specialty retailers of men's apparel with 1,758 stores. The Men's Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Moores and K&G stores carry a full selection of suits, sport coats, furnishings and accessories in exclusive and non-exclusive merchandise brands.  The company also operates three other stores in the Greater Cincinnati area - Kenwood, Eastgate and Florence, KY.

OnSite Retail Group brokers deal to move Buffalo Wild Wings to Westar Towne Center

Buffalo Wild Wings was looking to improve its position in the Polaris market in northern Columbus, OH and Eric M. Abroms of OnSite Retail Group found the solution at Westar Towne Center.  

Buffalo Wild Wings, the Minneapolis, MN-based restaurant chain, recently signed a lease with Westar Neighborhood Retail Center, LLC for the construction of a new 6,000 square foot freestanding restaurant.  Buffalo Wild Wings seized the opportunity to move from a nearby endcap space to a new freestanding prototype restaurant at 807 Polaris Parkway.  Westar Towne Center is a new retail center anchored by another OnSite Retail Group client, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market.  Buffalo Wild Wings, founded in Columbus in 1982, operates 13 restaurants in the Greater Columbus market, and more than 1,120 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.
