OnSite Retail Group, LLC is pleased to announce a new sales and leasing agent has joined our team! Jeffrey J. Smith is a graduate of Xavier University, and joins OnSite Retail Group following a 16-year career in corporate real estate, having reached the level of Vice President, Regional Real Estate Director. Smith brings to OnSite Retail Group his extensive experience in strategic retail site selection, acquisition, portfolio disposition and leasing.

Jeff’s experience in retail-use real estate across the entire geographic region we cover is a perfect fit for OnSite Retail Group. Jeff is a detail-oriented and disciplined professional and a strong leader and team player. In his corporate real estate experience, Smith interfaced directly with market area executive teams, and evaluated and established plans for their growth and re-positioning of their real estate holdings. At Onsite Retail Group, Jeff will specialize in landlord representation, project leasing and dispositions and will also handle tenant representation.

OnSite Retail Group completes two new leases at Bishop Square

Joshua M. Rothstein & Kristine Davidson of OnSite RetailGroup, LLC recently completed two new restaurant leases at Bishop Square in Oxford, Ohio.  Marco’s Pizza signed a 5-year lease for 1,406 square feet on the south endcap of a proposed new outlot building, which will allow Marco’s to offer drive-through service.  The new store will be located at 419 S. Locust Street.  Another new tenant, Tim Hortons, signed a 10-year lease for 2,000 square feet and will also be providing drive-through service at the opposite end of the same new building.  Tim Hortons, part of Restaurant Brands International, appeals to a broad range of consumer tastes, with a menu that includes premium coffee, hot and cold specialty drinks, teas and fruit smoothies, fresh baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, and soups.

OnSite Retail Group represented the landlord, Columbus, OH-based RENVC Oxford Commercial, LLC, in both transactions.  Construction is expected to begin in September and tenants should begin opening next spring.

Englewood Gateway anchor Aldi celebrates grand opening today

ALDI will celebrate the grand opening of their new store today in Englewood, Ohio, in the northwest suburbs of Dayton.  The new 18,500 square foot store at 1190 South Main Street in the new Englewood Gateway development is a relocation of the existing store in Englewood at 606 Taywood Road.  Dollar Tree is also planning a grand opening at Englewood Gateway in the coming weeks.

Andrew Feinblatt, of Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group, represented ALDI in the new lease.

OnSite Retail Group serves up Zoup! in Eastgate

Joshua Rothstein and Kristine Davidson of Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group, LLC recently leased 2,000 square feet to Zoup! on behalf of the owner, 32 East, LLC, at 690 Eastgate South Drive in the 32 East shopping center, directly across the street from the Jungle Jim’s complex in Union Township.  Zoup! offers hundreds of award-winning soups with 12 always-rotating daily varieties, including soups that are low-fat, vegetarian, dairy-free, spicy and made with gluten-free ingredients - each served with freshly baked bread.  Their menu also features made-to-order salads and sandwiches.   The Zoup! franchisee, Buzza Soup, LLC, will occupy the endcap space in the 4,800 square foot outlot building across from Jungle Jim’s.  OnSite Retail Group client, HomeGoods, recently opened at 32 East and others including Kirkland’s and ULTA plan to open soon.
