Huntington Bank is planning an October 2011 opening in its new location at 4018 Harrison Avenue in Cheviot, Ohio, as the Columbus-based bank expands its presence on Cincinnati’s west side.  Scott Saddlemire of OnSite Retail Group represented Huntington Bank in the lease of the 3,738 SF building located at the corner of Harrison & Carrie Avenues.   The new banking office will be Huntington Bank’s 38^th in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Columbus, OH-based Huntington Bank, with $52 billion in assets, serves customers in 6 states – Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania & West Virginia – through its network of over 600 branches, 1,300 ATMs and via online and mobile banking services.

TJ Maxx Relocates Springdale, Ohio Store to Springdale Plaza

TJ Maxx recently relocated its Springdale, Ohio store in northern Cincinnati.  The new store, which opened on October 21^st, is located in Springdale Plaza on E. Kemper Road, directly across from Tri-County Mall.  Eric Abroms and Scott Saddlemire of OnSite Retail Group represented The TJX Companies in this transaction.

Eric Abroms and Scott Saddlemire, principals at OnSite Retail Group, represented The TJX Companies, Inc. in two recent transactions for Marshalls in Greater Cincinnati.  The two new stores opened on October 28^th in Norwood at Surrey Square, and in Union Township at Eastgate Crossing, marking a return to the Cincinnati area for the retailer which closed its previous Cincinnati-area stores in the late 1980s prior to the acquisition of the company by The TJX Companies.   Marshalls, with over 800 stores in the U.S., is currently looking to expand further in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Scott Saddlemire represented Valvoline Instant Oil Change (a division of Ashland Inc.) in the sale of their former service facility at 893 Ohio Pike in Withamsville in eastern Cincinnati.  With over 825 locations, Valvoline Instant Oil Change is the 2^nd largest quick-lube chain in the U.S., offering full-service oil changes with quality Valvoline motor oils and preventative maintenance services.

Scott Saddlemire and Kristine Davidson represented Regis Corporation in four transactions in 2010.  Regis Corporation, operating as Supercuts, BoRics and Fiesta Salons among other brands, opened new salons at Western Hills Plaza, in Cincinnati, and at Tollgate Square in Oxford, OH.  New Fiesta salons are coming soon to Westview Plaza in South Point, Ohio and Stone Creek Town Center in Colerain Township in northern Cincinnati.

Kristine Davidson Represents Dollar Tree In Relocation of Lancaster, OH Store

Dollar Tree Stores relocated and expanded their store in Lancaster, OH.  Kristine Davidson represented Dollar Tree in a new lease with US Properties Group that will result in a new 9,600 square foot store at 11414 River Valley Blvd., in River Valley Plaza.  Dollar Tree previously operated in River Valley Mall.  Throughout the recession, Chesapeake, VA-based Dollar Tree Stores has continued to expand its presence and currently operates over 4,000 stores nation-wide.

United Dairy Farmers Completes Deal To Relocate Middletown, OH Store

Scott Saddlemire represented United Dairy Farmers in the acquisition of a 1.08 acre site in Middletown, OH.  The acquisition gives UDF the opportunity to relocate an outdated store just a couple blocks to a new site with greater visibility, increased access, and room for gas pumps.  The new store, opening in mid 2011 will be located at 106 N. Clinton Street in downtown Middletown.

Salon Lofts To Open 3rd Location In Cincinnati

Salon Lofts is gearing up to open its 3^rd location in Greater Cincinnati in Spring 2011.  Eric Abroms represented Salon Lofts in the new lease in West Chester, OH, at the Tylersville Farm shopping center anchored by LA Fitness.  Salon Lofts opened their first area location at 9285 Governor’s Way, just off Fields Ertel Road in Symmes Township.  Another location is currently under construction in Kenwood Galleria in Madeira.    Each location, essentially a “salon community” under one roof, provides entrepreneurial beauty professionals (known as Loft Owners) individual spaces to lease and operate their own businesses.   Each facility typically has nail technicians, skin specialists and masseuses; however most of the shops are dedicated to hairstylists.  Salon Lofts, based in Columbus, OH, currently operates 19 locations in Columbus, Cincinnati & Tampa.  The company is actively seeking additional locations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Dollar Tree Relocating in Hilliard, OH

Dollar Tree is now in the process of relocating and expanding yet another store – this time it's Deal$ store on Hilliard Rome Road on Columbus’ west side.  The Deal$ store currently located in Westpointe Plaza will soon be moving to 1905 Hilliard Rome Road in Tanglewood Plaza, owned by Casto.  Kristine Davidson represented Dollar Tree's Deal$ division in the new deal which will more than double the size of the Deal$ store to 10,019 square feet.  Dollar Tree currently operates 12 stores in the Columbus market.



Qdoba Mexican Grill Opens New Restaurant In West Chester, OH.

Qdoba Mexican Grill opened its 6^th restaurant in the Greater Cincinnati market on November 22nd.  The new 2,500 square foot store, located at 9220 Allen Road in West Chester, OH, will be located in the heart of the thriving Union Centre submarket.  Kristine Davidson represented Qdoba Mexican Grill in the leasing of the space in the former Busken Bakery property owned by Next State Properties, LLC.  Qdoba, with over 500 units nationwide, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jack in the Box Inc.  The company based in Wheat Ridge, CO, plans to add additional stores in the Greater Cincinnati market in 2011.
