Erin Caproni of the Cincinnati Business Courier reported
today on the announcement by Fresh Thyme Farmers Market of the chain’s first
store opening in Cincinnati.
Pet Supplies Plus, who entered the Greater Cincinnati market
in April with a store in Blue Ash, will open its first store in the
commonwealth of Kentucky this fall.The
new 8,500 square foot store will be located in the Kroger Marketplace-anchored
Independence Town Center.Livonia, MI-based Pet Supplies Plus is a privately
held company with 300 stores in 23 states.The Greater Cincinnati stores are corporately owned and operated, though
nationwide 46% of the stores are operated by franchisees.

Cincinnati, OH-based OnSite Retail Group, LLC brokered the deal in cooperation
with Brian Kerr of Pittsburgh, PA-based Langholz Wilson Ellis, both on behalf
of Pet Supplies Plus.Saddlemire &
Kerr handle the real estate representation for Pet Supplies Plus in the Greater
Cincinnati, Dayton, and western Ohio areas.
