OnSite Retail Group represents Huntington Bank in two sale transactions

Scott Saddlemire and Josh Rothstein of OnSite Retail Group recently coordinated the sale of two former bank properties in Northern Kentucky on behalf of their client, Columbus, OH-based Huntington National Bank.  The properties were located at 7550 Dixie Highway in Florence, and at 300 Elm Street in Ludlow.  The Florence property was improved with a 3,025 square foot bank building on 1.63 acres, and the Ludlow property featured a 2,457 square foot bank building on .58 acre in the heart of downtown Ludlow.

OnSite Retail Group sells Liberty Towne Center, relists as Liberty Pointe

Joshua Rothstein and Andrew Feinblatt of OnSite RetailGroup, LLC recently sold the Liberty Towne Center development in Liberty Township in northern Cincinnati on behalf of SAE Properties, LLC.  The 10,000 square foot retail center located at 7115 Liberty Plaza Drive was purchased by OAY Hospitality Inc., who immediately signed a new listing agreement with OnSite to market the property for lease.  Grand Peking restaurant remains in the center, and according to Rothstein, there are three vacancies of 1,500 square feet, 2,000 square feet and 5,000 square feet.

Rothstein said OAY Hospitality has a new design and new vision for the center.  Going forward the center has been renamed Liberty Pointe.  Immediately upon acquiring to property, OAY Hospitality upgraded the landscaping, repaved the parking lot, repainted the building and installed a new façade.  He also added that Hilton is currently building a new, 92-room Home 2 hotel directly behind and adjacent to Liberty Towne Center, which he believes makes Liberty Towne Center even more desirable to retailers.  Even with the dramatic improvements to Liberty Pointe, the area immediately surrounding the property and the surrounding retail market, Rothstein said the rents have remained relatively low for the market which is hopping with activity.

Bishop Square to get boost with apartment leasing, Miami U. record enrollment

The new apartment community developed in Oxford, OH in conjunction with the Bishop Square retail development, called Miami Preserve,  is now 100% leased.  Miami University is expecting its largest incoming freshman class on record this fall, a major contributing factor to reaching the occupancy milestone by Dublin, OH-based New Village Communities, the developer of the mixed-use project.   JoshuaRothstein & Kristine Davidson of OnSite Retail Group, LLC in Cincinnati, OH are handling the leasing of Bishop Square for New Village Communities.  As reported by Amanda Seitz, Staff Writer at Dayton Daily News, the record enrollment for Miami University is causing a housing shortage.
