TJX Companies brings its HomeGoods concept to Dayton

August 2011
Eric Abroms and Scott Saddlemire of OnSite Retail Group recently negotiated a deal on behalf of The TJX Companies, Inc. with shopping center owner Continental Properties to deliver the Dayton area’s first HomeGoods store.  The new 28,786 square foot store set to open next Spring will be located in Beavercreek, Ohio at Beavercreek Shopping Center at 2500 N. Fairfield Road, directly opposite Mall at Fairfield Commons.

HomeGoods, TJX’s chain of off-price home fashions stores, offers exclusively home fashions.  The new Beavercreek store will feature a wide selection of giftware, home basics, furniture and accent furniture, lighting, rugs, bedding, decorative accessories, children’s furniture, seasonal merchandise, and wall décor, as well as items for the kitchen and dining room, among other fashions for the home.

A Fortune 500 company with nearly $22 billion in revenues in 2010 and over 2,800 stores in six countries, TJX currently operates five stores in the Dayton area under the TJ Maxx and Marshalls brands.  The company’s HomeGoods brand was introduced in 1992, and continues to grow nationally.  At the end of 2010, TJX was operating 336 HomeGoods stores.
